The coup de grâce, a few dollops from a hot glue gun which was delivered today.

This is another tip from XenonJohn. It's perfect for securing components, and snaps off if you change your mind.

IIRC the Field Kit also does a bit of this stuff, but as others have said, I think you'll be better off rolling your own.
