Re: ProFX16v3 channel faders not doing anything?

If so, I suspect this is correct. That button and the two buttons above it (1/2 and 3/4), tell the channel where it's output should ...

That's valid, but if you're on a budget, taking the time to find the single 10" speaker's "sweet spot" with a single mic would save you having to buy the Behringer Xenyx?

Re: Plan for the studio - podcast and reamping
Couple of questions...
Why do you need the raw guitar signal, and a mic'd up guitar amp signal?
Why are you using both mics to record the guitar amp- it's a mono amp?

Re: Kontakt 6.8 won't load Session Guitarist
they let Native Access do the update on these products automatically That's naughty, OK, This is why: Many of our products received an update for NKS2 compatibility and polyphonic aftertouch. Re: Kontakt 6.8 won't load Session Guitarist
For several years now I've been happily running Session Guitarist Electric Sunburst Deluxe. Today I pulled up an old project to revisit and pulled up Kontakt and went to load the Session Guitarist, and I get the error "Your Version of Kontakt is too old to load this file Please update to the l...

Re: Adam A7V Monitors - Break In

actually it is a small places.it is a Coffee Shop.
Maybe keep it simple and don’t mic the drums, bass or guitars (their amps will probably be loud enough) and just get a small PA for the vocal(s).

Re: Hex pickup to tab conversion (with open tunings)?
If you're picking rather than strumming, try Cubase's audio to midi process, it might save you the hassle of fitting a hex pick-up?

Re: Hold Off on Mac Sonoma 14.4 Update
This only seems to be AU plug-ins.
I updated and have been able to run a couple of VST plug-ins that are protected by iLok with no problems.

Re: Mac Newbie
Cubase on a Mac uses VSTs, there's no problem with VSTs.
Cubase runs on Sonoma, at least Cubase 13 does.
You've a nice computer in that box! Enjoy.

Re: Is my mic damaged? Audio files included
accidentally unplugged my microphone when it was on with phantom power. The techies here can correct me, but surely that's the same as turning the phantom off? I can't see how that could damage a mic? If there was going to be damage done, plugging a mic into a cable with phantom power already on MI...

Re: The nth question about which laptop to purchase
I don't have any Apple devices at home and have always used Windows and Android as OS. Then, why bother to learn another OS. Stick to PC if that's what you're used to- for the record, I'm a dedicated long time Mac user! That rules out Logic and GarageBand- but you still have choices, Reaper get goo...
