Re: What hardware synth would you like to see being made again?

Hilarious to see a 2010 thread being dug up.

More of this please!

Re: Report your known delays

Andertons (UK) had the Korg ARP2600 M as due in stock on 31st December 2021, though going by accounts from elsewhere that was never going to be realistic.

They now have it down for March 2022.

I'm assuming summer 2022. :boring:

Re: Waldorf Iridium - Quantum desktop

Good to hear that the Quantum has been stable. Given that the OS has already been road tested on the Quantum, I may have to truncate my usual 1 year purchase purdah to 6 months. Or less.

Re: Waldorf Iridium - Quantum desktop

I find the idea of a Quantum desktop module quite appealing. Less space & much less cash. I'll come back to it in a year or so, once the teething issues have been sorted out.

Re: Novation Summit

At long last my Summit has arrived! And like an idiot I managed to scratch it when setting up - it didn’t quite fit into the space I had intended! Oh well, at least I wont be precious about it and marked it as mine. … Bollocks, that's a shame. We could probably fill a thread with instances of dam ...

Re: USB 2 Hub with power delivery to USB Peripherals?e

i've been using one of these with my Macbook Pro for a year or two now, for synth use.

D-Link hub

It's worked without missing a beat so i'd recommend it.

Re: Would an SH101 be suitable as a controller keyboard for a modular system?

i'm sure it would be a great little controller for a modular - it's got the CV & Gate out and a keyboard, so that's all you need to start.

i don't know if the sequencer and arpeggiator output CV/Gate but that would be lavish icing on the cake if they did.

don't sell it!

Re: Korg MS-20 Minis - get 'em while they're hot.

got mine late last week from Red Dog Music in Edinburgh.

thing is, the weather's been so hot and sunny since then i haven't been in the home studio to put it through its paces.

maybe i need some cool synths instead of hot ones. :headbang:
