Re: Audio interface and mic for male vocals
Just revisiting this topic as I haven't got round to buying the Babyface Pro yet as it's been out of stock every time I checked, and is still only available to pre-order for £680-700. So I was wondering if there's anything new that's as good (or better) and maybe cheaper or more readily Studiocare ...

Re: A Place To Lie In
I love this. Not anything that I would ever listen to normally but its ace, think the mix stands up really well. The only slight tweak I would make is that when the Leslie'd Hammond comes in there's a bit of a fight going on in the middle of the stereo image at 2-3K (ish) feels like you've pushed th...

Re: heyyy!!!!!!!!! This is my second song!!!
Difficult to know what to say here. Assuming this is not a joke, you need to actually listen objectively to what you are doing. I don't think you are listening to what you are doing, I think you're vibing that your doing something, which is great that your enjoying it, but its not enjoyable to liste...

Re: Identify an AKG C414
Hugh's answer is so insanely good I almost feel wrong about trying to add anything, but....
The P48 you refer to just means it takes Phantom power at 48 volts, not relevant to model number or device version.
Do I get a job as Hugh's right hand man now?

Re: Well Really!
Had a quick listen, music really not my thing but I thought it was nicely produced and mixed, so technically top marks!

Re: soundbars
I have the Sky Sound box (not a 'bar' per se so I hope im allowed to contribute) it sounds good, surprisingly so in fact. Clear voices, bass it has no business making and does create a reasonable sense of space. It was created for Sky by Devialet who seem to know what they're doing. If space is an i...

Re: Converter for PC?
Hi there as you've probably already guessed asking which is 'best' is probably not as simple as you thought. In reality most modern converters will do a decent job and you are unlikely to find that at the sort of budget you are considering (Lynx Aurora's are expensive things) they cause you any noti...

Re: How to record a heartbeat?
I had a requirement for this exact same sound last month. A quick google search for ‘free heartbeat sample’ yielded many choices. Not as fun as making your own I agree but took like 5 mins and got the job done…

Re: My First Music
Hi There, just had a quick listen, here's my thoughts. The mix isn't really happening for me, the beats aren't loud enough and its really congested in the high mids - there's too many similar sounds going on up there Not really feeling the range of sounds/sound effects used, lots of 'different' soun...
