Re: IEM’s around £300

Sorry, I haven’t had any experience with them. I used to buy from Custom IEM Company but they are not taking any custom sleeve orders at the moment.

IEM’s around £300

Hi, I’m looking to buy a set of IEM’s for monitoring mainly keys, bass, vocals and sometimes drums. At the moment I’m using a pair of Shure SE215’s with custom mould sleeves. I’ve had the sleeves for several years and as my ear has naturally changed shape, the sleeves don’t fit as snug as they used ...

Re: Looking for lightweight active 10" speakers

What firmware version are your QSC K10.2’s running?there has been a couple of revisions of this and the latest is 1.3.3. You know, I never thought to upgrade the firmware! Unusual for me, but they are the club's so I guess it is one degree of separation. Damn, just read the firmware log, gonna go i...

Re: Looking for lightweight active 10" speakers

Thanks guys, For quite a large portion of events I’ve just been using a single pair of Alto TS210’s by themselves. I’ve had the Yamaha DZR12’s and yes they are great speakers but I really didn’t get on with the handles. I much prefer handles with the vertical hand grip. I actually found my heavier D...

Looking for lightweight active 10" speakers

Hi, I run sound for a number of different sized events from a single mic on stand for speech to full bands for audiences for around 400 people outdoors. I own a few different systems from three Alto TS210's - pair of FBT X-Lite 12a's - pair of Yamaha DXR15's + pair of QSC KW181 subs. Over the past y...

Thoughts on Unity Audio Super Rock?

Hi, I’m quite interested in the Unity Audio Super Rock monitors. I’ve been using a pair of Neumann KH120’s but would like something that has a little more low end extension. I’m aware of the Neumann KH310’s and their upcoming KH150dsp. There’s also the newly released IK Precision and Focal ST6 Solo6...

Re: Turbosound Milan M10 or Yamaha DBR10?

By all accounts the Alto 310s were a big step up from the 210s. I had some and for the money, sounded pretty good. Only downside for me was that even on the ‘flat’ setting there was definitely a bit of a smiley EQ curve to the sound. So it would be nice if the 410s had a true flat setting. Yes the ...

Re: Turbosound Milan M10 or Yamaha DBR10?

I notice Alto has now released a new TS4 range.

It will be interesting to hear how these compare to my old TS210’s. I’m also quite keen to hear the RCF HD10mkV as they are around the same price.
