Got it sorted using Camelot Pro and an app called Surface Builder. Which allows me to remotely control Camelot from my iPhone, with Camelot running in the background!
A couple of ideas spring to mind, A Korg Nano control or Nanopad to add buttons and controls you can map to your host. Or a Streamdeck of some kind with the streamdeck MIDI plugin. Thanks. I do have a nano but I am trying to avoid any more devices and cables. But it might yet come to that in the ...

I have Live Professor on my Exploration List for when time allows. Initial scan looks like it might be of interest to you:
Here is what I need to do. I need to have some sort of app (Camelot Pro, Mainstage, Gig Performer et al) to load and play AUs (PianoTeq, Neo-Soul Sampletank etc) live from a keyboard. Using a Macbook Air. Now, that by itself is ok, but the issue, and where I am finding it difficult to figure a ...
There are various hard shell cases available for the air. If you got one of those, you could put the Velcro on that Thinking mode engaged. “I wonder if you could design a 3d printed clip on holder that replaces the top of a K&M music stand…Hmmm.” Yeah that would work too! Trouble is getting the 3d p ...
I don't know whether you could do something similar for the Macbook, but my lad has just made a batch of backplate protectors for Boss pedals which allow you to attach the pedal to a pedal board with Velcro without the adhesive damaging the back plate of the pedal. That sounds interesting - can you ...

I am wanting to attach 3m Dual-Lock (very strong hook/loop) to the rear of my macbook air to enable attachment to a stand. My question is, would constant attaching/removing damage either the rear panel or parts inside? As you remove the stand plate connected to the dual-lock, I imagine it would ...
Yep, try to engender an adult conversation among the children guitar players and all you get are [abusive language removed] ! and I' would not be surprised if those above are exactly those chunka chunka guys who play in a local bar with backing tracks out the wazoo claiming they are the best ...
We just don't want to make too much fun of someone who plays a keytar! :D Thereby promulgating the whole diss of anyone who thinks of using one...guitarist playing "chunka chunka" chords over a four piece band track are somehow thought of as "musicians" and someone who has to form chords and melody ...
Why is it that a guitarist can get away with just playing a guitar (even just strumming on an acoustic) with backing tracks, yet when a keys player using a so-called "key-tar" does the same thing it is ridiculed?
There's brilliant sound libraries for Kontakt. The polyAT 88mk3 will be a match made in somewhere possibly heaven lol. I wouldn't mind springing for Komplete 14 Standard if I had an earlier version of Komplete. Wonks on another thread mentioned £80 upgrade to Komplete 14 standard from Komplete 9 ...
I already have Sampletank 4, but Komplete 14 standard is on sale for half price...would it be worth it to buy, or am I just doubling up on what I have?
The new Montage is hard to argue against. It has been decades since I was a regular gigger but even back then I was using an ancestor of the Montage M in the form of an SY85 and it paid for itself many times over. I still own two of them because the 3rd got damaged beyond repair and I never want to ...
I am possibly retiring from live gigging, and just sticking to creating music in the studio. To that end which keyboard would be a good all rounder for this, do you think? I currently have a PA5x Arranger style board, and while it has great sounds and operational aspects (read for live play), and of ...
It's the factory presets (have not created any of my own yet) - I have since found out that those presets under the EFX section are actually EQ presets only, you need to add your efx manually.
