Re: Ear Defenders
I used the Pacato ear plugs last night on a gig.
Very pleased with them.
Plenty of attenuation without a big loss in quality.
Decent fit in my ears as well.

Re: Ear Defenders
I have ordered some Pacato 19 ear plugs. I will report back! I have had some ear defenders for several years but lately they seem to not be attenuating as much. It has been difficult to get them to “sit” properly. I am very careful in my studio about volume especially guitar amps. The problem seems w ...

Hartke HA2500 Bass Amp
I have acquired a Hartke HA2500 bass amp.
It sounds great in my garage through some cabs.
Could I use it on its own in my studio via the direct out on the back without any speakers connected?
If so,I take it it could go direct into my computer set up without a DI box?
Thanks

Re: Studiomaster Clubxs Mixers
Got the Allen and Heath desk and used it last night.
Very impressed!
The singer said he had superb fidelity in his in ear monitors.
Just one issue ,one of the meters is a bit temperamental seems to work on and off.No effect on the output. Is this an easy fix?

Behringer Xenix X1832 USB
I am trying to repair a Behringer mixer. The left side is ok but the right side has a very faint signal. I have had a look inside to no avail. There is a graphic eq and feedback cancelling button. They make strange static noises so I wonder if that is anything to do with it. Anyone had experience of ...

Re: Watkins Rapier 33
Thanks for that. Mine has three normal pots but no rotary switch. There is a two way switch with four lugs.I think this was to have the bridge and neck pick ups together or just bridge or neck, not sure which! There is also a switch which apparently was made for Pifco hairdryers! It has a red switch ...
