The Logic score editor is a wee (!) bit problematic - has long long needed development that it's not getting.
My best suggestion is that you create a track for each part - that will give each voice a much clearer and more accurate score to follow.
Not ideal - but readable!

Re: Keeping Old Studio System Alive!
Many thanks for all the information. That you took time to respond is much appreciated! It's comforting, in a way, to know that I don't have to chase the latest and greatest to get a musical result! Now I just need to spend some time to work out how to network Macs of different generations so that ...

Keeping Old Studio System Alive!
This question is based on an issue I don't understand: 32 vs 64 bit (what does that mean in practical terms?), and driver compatibility. I have a 'vintage' (ie: hardware*) mix studio co-ordinated through a Tascam FW1884. My 2006 2,1 Mac Pro tower (using Logic 9, Snow Leopard with SSL PCIe card ...

Re: What analog EQ for what purpose
I have an old Focusrite Liquidmix 32 and found an article or two on the interwebs describing the original units being modeled, with useful advice for most common application of each model. Not perfect of course but good starting points as to where vintage stuff was most used back in the day. Sorry I ...

Re: Falsetto
I'm loath to get into this in a forum as really the only way I think that singers find their best voices is in working with an individual teacher. A teacher who can observe exactly what the singer is doing and offer appropriate technique. However, as a bass/counter-tenor who in my mid 60s still ...

supposedly high standards of journalistic integrity Absolutely. That's why they stick to the facts. If there's a newsworthy release, they'll report that. If there's a newsworthy challenge or change of company stance, they'll report that too. People can make up their own minds about the ethics and ...

Not wanting to get specifically into what any one thinks of Behringer's general practice, A little editing advice; you should have left this sentence out. Wasn't trying to provoke further discussion of Behringer's behaviour - the focus of my post is on SOS. By reviewing this product the magazine is ...

The Behringer TD-3-MO review a problem?

Re: Best way to learn Logic
I've been using the Tube of You to learn the all the various ins and outs of Logic.
There are many videos on all aspects from introduction to in-depth.
I kinda like "Why Logic Pro Rules" - he's methodical and focused. But there are many others.

Re: Monitoring in a Probably Very Unsuitable Room
I find my AKG 712s (open backed) with the generic Sonarworks correction to be very effective. I was actually quite surprised what a difference the correction made - flattened a strongish tendancy to a scooped mid range, and seemed to tighten the bass up as well. I say 'seemed' because I'm not sure ...

I’ve used Pianoteq 6 and 7 and I have to say I’m less impressed than previous posters. There’s something that doesn’t sound quite right, to my ears anyway. ... Lovely 'phones as is. But was fascinated about how much clarity (spectral balance?) they gained and how much more like my monitors they were with the generic Sonarworks correction.

Re: Most underrated synths...
I'm going to throw Technics WSA1R into the mix! I love my WSA1R - feel really lucky to have found one as I believe very few made it down to the Antipodes. There's a 'mobility' to the sounds that place it above PCM romplers, and it's fun to fiddle about with and make weird sounds that somehow still ...

A "Boring Thing" That Drives Me Nuts In The Studio
Very early on in this Covid season I became inspired to re-structure my studio - change the layout to reflect workflows and frequency of use.
