It would seem that nobody was worrying other than you, as we all knew it was a special issue.

Re: Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE?
+1 to sonics' last sentence. When I did the sound mix for our choir's last online lockdown concert, for the orchestra I just used the standard library in Presonus Notion, which gave acceptable results and I would say that the Miroslav library is a little bit better than that. It's all about how you ...

Re: Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE?
I have the full version, although I've not used it much, but when I have it's fine.
Not sure what they cut out for the free version though, so I couldn't really comment on that version.

Re: I've been thinking...
If it's just polyphonic aftertouch you're after, Presonus' Atom SQ supports it. It's not really a keyboard but it's laid out so that it can be used as one (only two octaves) - I've found I quite like using mine for bass lines. It's about £180.

Re: Phasing issue with two double tracked guitars
If you have more than one guitar, try playing the lines on different guitars, or tune one very slightly sharper than the other, say +3 cents. Or try a soft and a hard pick, so that the basic string tone from the guitar varies. I usually detune and retune the guitar by ear when I double track, doing...

Re: Power outage : Logic Auto Saved
Journalled file systems help an awful lot in this regard. In the past, I have seen people recommend turning off journalling for performance reasons. Don't do this! Especially in this age of fast SSDs, it's not going to make a noticeable difference (and I'm not convinced it made much of a difference ...

Re: If LUFS is actually a thing on Spotify, then why do...
And yet there are videos like this... https://youtu.be/h8MoK9vKl-M This guy’s videos has been popping up all over my Facebook and Instagram recently. Absolutely contemptuous and ignorant, not to mention damaging. Jeez, the presentation style of that video is enough to put me off. You really don't n...

Re: Can I just cut everything below 40hz?
I'll usually look at the spectrum analyser to see what's happening down in those frequencies before deciding whether to us a HPF. I have some synth patches that ostensibly start in the mid range but when viewed on the analyser there is a load of LF noise as well - not a problem on their own but it c...

Re: Thinking of moving to Logic.
You will almost certainly find that your other software will work fine, but is currently unsupported on Monterey. "Unuspported" often just means the creators haven't tested it.
If you tell us what software then perhaps some of us will be able to confirm whether or not it works.
