I would recommend the Neumann KH80dsp or KH120’s if the Eris sounds too bass heavy in your untreated room. I have the KH120’s and love them. I think he should be OK, the Eris have a bit of adjustment round the back, if they sound a bit bass heavy, but I’m guessing given the music Hjlphilp is making ...

Sonarworks definitely works for headphones, I've not tried the room correction side but it can't fundamentally break the laws of physics - so it'll work better in a treated room but if you've got large bass standing waves (which in an untreated room you will have) then it really can't sort that out ...
