Some rude words are village names. The same word used in anatomical and geographical context.

Re: Explicit Content

hmmm. I've always declared on the few tracks I have where a naughty word creeps in. Doesn't appear to have unduly affected anything. explicit & radio edit - is it easy to distribute different mix versions, say, the original & a version with the explicit words muted or flip reversed ?

^ that is the killer.

I use wireless for listening to music, where latency is irrelevant but I would like to use them sat on an E-drum kit but no chance with my consumer pods, as the latency interferes with playing.

Re: The cold reality of synthesizers

very narrow indeed :) A 1 knob per function viewpoint perhaps, which means that synths with 2000+ parameters are out of scope. One thing about synthesizers is that they belong to an era. A few years after they are released, they stop being made. They may re-appear as software recreations later on ...

Re: Powering up old gear

definitely worth while.
There might be a nicad battery in there that might go flat and leak or electrolytics which can develope lack of use problems.
It would certainly wake up the spiders and give them somthing to think about.

Re: Retrieving audio from cassette

Supermarkets, hairdressers, etc need to pay to play music to their customers and I imagine funerals are the same. So, you may need to provide the provenance trail for any non catalogue music.

Re: Album - EP - Single

you might go the trouble of thoughtfully ordering the tracks on an album but a consumer may arrange them differently on their play list, or indeed, just add the one tune with instant ear candy. That was less likely to happen with CDs I think.
