Re: Professional opinion needed

Sam Spoons wrote: I'd go for a full X32

Hey Sam,

I have considered the X32 (for the MIDAS-made preamps), but I read only 8 faders can be integrated with the DAW. I would like all 32 channels to be accessible.

Any experience with this?

Thx

Re: Professional opinion needed

From what you are saying you're not looking to provide high-end, esoteric hardware to hardened professionals! Actually I want to provide professional sound quality. You don't always need high-end expensive hardware for this nowadays ;) Basically, I will invest in high-end microphones and pre-amps f...

Re: Professional opinion needed

Hi, Thanks for all the input. Basically what I am reading between the lines is "don't start with a professional studio" and "if you do, buy a big expensive (analog) mixer" :) Maybe I should state my goal to make this clear ;) Basically I want to give young bands and local artists...

Must have microphones?

Hi everyone, My first post so please be gentle ;) I have been recording and mixing in a small (analog) home studio for many years and have plans to build a professional (digital) studio. I was wondering which are the "must have" microphones in a professional studio. I know one of them is o...
