What would you suggest as an alternative to Logic? It must support multi-track audio output and MIDI. I do agree Logic seems very big and heavy to use live. For mock-ups, it'd take a lot to beat (ha) Apple's Logic Drummers, for me. I'm not releasing stuff. Just arrangements and the odd backing track. Dragging a region of x bars, repeating then changing the focus by a smidge works great. Takes seconds once you get thru the cryptic names and all the names...
