Re: Stereo Audio to Livestream
... As for the indirect audio I/O route, I figure you can feed the audio into a DAW where you can select the inputs you want active, and then feed that audio into OBS through the plugin above? This is a pretty new PC build that is pretty bare-bones software-wise, but very capable hardware-wise. At ...

Re: Stereo Audio to Livestream
To your immediate question, as mentioned try the unbalanced route and see if you get issues. If you do, take some time to try to debug, like making sure all the devices are on the same electrical circuit. OBS should be able to work indirectly with the L20 though. You’ll have to use an intermediate p ...

Re: Zoom Livetrak L-20 Audio Interface Mode on Mac
Try something else besides Ableton, like GarageBand. Make sure to select the interface in GB preferences. I use an L12 all the time for simultaneous live mixing and multitrack recording with Logic.

Re: iCloud or Google Drive for Music?
With iCloud, if you’re trying to preview a sample I think you can do that in a browser, assuming it’s a normal audio file. If you try to do it from Finder it will get downloaded to your drive.

Re: My music copyright was denied.
Traditionally, it’s always said that chord progressions cannot be copyrighted. It’s certainly difficult to get a good result in the courts - those guys who tried and failed to claim damages from Led Zeppelin failed because there were so many examples of the ‘stairway to heaven’ sequence. Realis ...

Re: Logic won't start up...WHY???
12.4 is the current point release and has some audio fixes I believe. It certainly has some security fixes that should absolutely be applied.

Re: Equipment ideas for live streaming
In addition to the excellent advice posted already I’ll add that you’ve proposed some solutions without telling us the specific problems you’re trying to address. You also haven’t detailed your current setup including equipment and space. Include some unprocessed audio samples where we can hear the p ...

Re: How do would I uninstall RME Drivers / Software / TotalMix?
But there's no mention of what has been added to the Registry? Often there is an .inf file that comes with an install and that will usually contain all of the content added or affected. Personally, a good old drive image done before an install, does the trick, and much to my surprise, Windows ...

Re: MacBook mid 2015 is £500 a good price?
I suppose it depends on how much you need a new computer right now. If you need one right now I’d try to find one that’s on the Supported Hardware list here. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS_Ventura

Re: MacBook mid 2015 is £500 a good price?
Or do you have an external monitor available that you could use? A 2015 computer is already long in the tooth and with the switch from Intel it’ll feel out of date sooner than usual. I say this in part having bought a PowerPC Mac about a year before the switch TO Intel. It wasn’t long before new stu ...

Re: MacBook mid 2015 is £500 a good price?
Keep in mind you won’t be able to upgrade past Monterrey on that one.
At this point, unless you need to freeze a system on Intel CPUs or you’re willing to buy another in a year or two, I would suggest saving till you can afford an Apple Silicon.

Re: Mac M1 working audio interfaces - any recommendations?
I’m thinking of updating to the latest Mac OS, I’m on High Sierra. My Mac is 2013, questions are, will it update, and if so will my software of the same vintage still continue to work, also, I don’t have to go online with this machine, all my software is authorised on this machine, lastly, am I stil ...
