Wow, I didn't think I will get so much advice about short scales. Thank you all I found another squier p bass in a reputable shop, so I am thinking of going there and trying it. I don't know any one who plays bass but they have professionals at the shop, so I hope they will help me.

Yeah guitars are basically both playing the same note only through a different amp so they kinda have to be Hard L and R.
