It's better if you figure this out yourself.
Intonation can be a problem.
The solution is a one parameter solution. (Changing the length of string between the 12th fret and the saddle)
Which means ...

Re: "Adjusting the Intonation"?
... When you fret a note (and for intonation purposes we are using the 12th fret) you then use the average mass/unit length of that length of string. Does that make sense to you? It doesn't make any sense to me. What is using the mass/unit length? How is moving the saddle relevant to that? And ...

Re: "Adjusting the Intonation"?
... in addition, strings are very rarely uniform along their whole length. Almost, but not quite. Small variations in mass/unit length can mean that you may need to intonate after each change of strings. What strings are you using that are uneven? How are you proposing that moving the saddle would ...

Re: "Adjusting the Intonation"?
I don't think it's as complicated as Wonks is making out. On an acoustic guitar a bridge that has been adjusted to have better intonation is called a compensated bridge. The question is then what is it compensating for? It's compensating for the amount that the string bends out of tune when it is ...

What I'm imagining is something like Son Of A Preacher Man.

The rhythm is important. I think if you sung your ideas the horn players would get the idea and they could fill in the harmony.

Re: Midi to Sheet Music Converter
With a horn section there's usually a 'squadron leader' who comes up with the line and the other guys put in the harmony. The reason to use notation would be if you had an exact horn part in mind with all the harmonies worked out. If you're open to the input of the horn players general guidance may ...

Re: Building a New PC after 15 Years!! Old ESI Juli@ Sound Card ok?
The challenge with doing this is mechanical -- how are you going to fit it in the case? There are PCIe to PCI riser cards available: https://i.ibb.co/vxYyKd60/PCIeto-PCIriser.jpg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194299680010 This gets around the limitation of the height of a slot. Yeah, but remember I mentioned I am running a MacOS (Hackintosh) on the same laptop, and there I don't have these dropout and click issues even at 32 samples buffering that I have in Windows at 64. So in case the motherboard is limiting something for physical reasons, that should be a limiting ...

Re: US-Built Audio PC recommendations?
Something else about that 4U case is that there are no dust filters. For air flow this case has open grills. That's good for cooling. Recent cases have a fine mesh over the grills to stop dust getting in. They reduce the amount of dust that gets inside the case, and are removable and easily cleaned.
