Re: Innovative MIDI Controller I came across online

I'm more concerned about scripts than cookies, but the result is the same, I can't (won't) see it either. How about a product name, or some other searchable string? :)

Re: Need a Thunderbolt hub

Does it all have to run off the one TB port? For a bunch of (switchable) Type A ports I bought one of these, and there are similar things from Sabrent that I'd feel confident recommending just based on experience with other things from them.

Re: Need a Thunderbolt hub

A search for "thunderbolt multiple monitors" brought up several from Amazon. No personal recommendations to share, sorry.

That's why I say you need lots of listening time (to songs you like :D ), while thinking about the single parts and how they fit together.

I don't know about BT mail, but in most email I've used you can right click the link and edit it to display whatever you like, the way this goes to Google.

Or, does it already read as BAT to some? :smirk:

You mean, listen for, right? ;) And that's what I think you need, lots of listening time, while thinking about what compliments and what detracts, and why. :D

Of course!

Interesting that "double bass tabs" and "upright bass tabs" yields slightly different results. They don't seem terribly common, but certainly not unheard of.

Of what, exactly? For double bass? I've seen plenty of tab for bass, though. My comment wasn't meant to poke at your sore spot, and I have no objection to tab when used sensibly. :)

Re: Is guitar tablature...

Tough crowd  But is it really how we 'see' it, or how we've learnt to see it? I'm happy to be proven wrong but I think only an absolute beginner would be able to judge with no preconceptions. No, it's how we hear it! It's relating what we hear to what we see, not what we see to what we see. :)

Same here.

Re: Is guitar tablature...

I think the value of tab is that there are multiple incidences of the same note on a fretboard, as opposed to just the one position on a keyboard, so tab helps to keep you in the right area for what's to follow. Yes, keyboard players sometimes forget this. There is an established means of indicatin...

It's more than just the tablature. If I said something about the "bottom string", which E would you assume I'm referring to? As Zen says, it's about your POV.
