I think I found a solution for the problem:
There were two instances of "InstallShield Update Service" in the startup list and only one was deactivated...

I have got this strange problem ever since I got my pc up and running: everytime I start Windows there is an empty "InstallShield" window waiting for me: http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb87/djrespect/start.jpg I don't think it affects the performance or does any harm, but nevertheless ...

I have a problem with my Fatar Studiologic SL-1100: The f#' key is much louder than all the others; so for example if I play a scale containing this note all notes have the same volume and velocity, except the f#', which produces a higher velocity and sounds louder (and no, I don't hit it harder :D)...
