Hi folks,
Just looking for a quick bit of advice here if there old vintage drum machines are worth much, what could I reasonably expected if put on ebay? They are just lying around I never will use them.
1 Sound Master SR88 in box, no manual , but otherwise seems to be working ok.
2 Roland TR 505 again no manual but I believe that is available on net, seems to be working ok as well.
Thanks for any quick advice.
Joe

I sold a 505 a few years back, but I can't remember how much it fetched. About £80 or so I think.

Try searching for them using ebay's 'sold listings' feature.
Doing so reveals the TR-505 has sold lately in the UK for anywhere between 50 and 150 quid, and the SR-88 for £80 or £90. One marked 'not working' went for £30.

The bottom line is that they are worth what anyone is prepared to pay. No amount of anyone telling you their value will guarantee you'll get it.
I'm afraid those two machines are not on the 'highly desirable' list. The best you can do is head to eBay, put them up for auction and cross your fingers.
