I have an overflow of pedals; don't mention Black Friday!
So I need a second power supply to handle say 6 or more.
They all seem to be the Boss style connectors which is -ve centre I believe.
This is for home use only so it doesn't need to be that portable.
Something compact and flexible would be good that comes with the power leads.
Not looking for high end so more the value end but not too cheap to be any good.
I'll have to go through all the pedals to check their mA ratings before making a final decision. I'm looking to choose a style of P/S first and then hone in on a precise model.
I use that exact Caline, kindly given to me by a member of these forums! I was originally planning to upgrade to a proper ground isolated PSU, but I’ve had zero issues with the Caline so I plan to keep it.
I'd go for the Donner style as it has isolated outputs (or at least it says it has). Almost guaranteed to be required if you have at least one digital pedal to avoid ground loop noise, but even with analogue pedals, you normally get less noise if using isolated outputs.
Thanks guys. I'll go for an isolated one then.
Is £28 a reasonable price to pay? Not too cheap!
I've at least heard of Donner which might not mean anything!
I might need a few longer power leads for flexibility so hopefully they are standard sized both ends; obviously they are standard on the inputs for the pedals.
Bear in mind that returning things to Thomann might not be so easy in the new year unless a trade deal is reached. We should know soon on that front, but what any likely repercussions will be may take longer to discover.
I have at least 3 pedals which are well over 100mA so I will need to look at something else as the Donner only has 2 500mA outputs and the rest are 100mA.
I'll need to check my other setup as that seems to only be 9W across its 7 outputs.
I'm in danger of overloading that with the 300mA units although many of the others are very low amperage.
I'm not planning on using Thomann but it's good to be reminded of that .

So three digital pedals, which almost certainly means you need isolated outputs. This, plus larger current capacity, is when it all starts to get expensive!
From the comments it looks not. 'Isolated' here means that there's a voltage regulator and short circuit protection for each output, but as the outputs have a common ground, they can still create ground loops.
With true isolated outputs you can use a correctly configured cable to link two outputs to give double the voltage.
This 'homage' to a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus would be ideal if it had 3, not just two high current outputs. Well under half the price of the VL units. I have two of the VLPP2+ units.
But it does miss the mains output power socket that allows you to daisy chain more supplies together and feed them from one mains cable, and unless someone tests one, there's no way to really tell how isolated the outputs are. If they have done a near-straight copy of the design, then it will be fine. If it just looks like one, then they'll have a common ground again.

Might not be what you asked about as such but - the Boss BCB-60 pedal board comes with power supply and power leads and interconnects and can be had for £106.00. Bargain! I bought one earlier this year and finally no more floor spaghetti.

Thanks. I already have one of those so am looking for something more compact this time for the overflow.
This is not something to buy cheaply unless you get a second hand bargain. I've seen so many people blow pedals by using the cheap maplin style psus. you need isolated and im not sure that anyone would want the noise from cheaper supplies. voodoo labs are always the best and the bbe supa charger can be had for very cheap if you go used.

Most 'decent'* pedals are pretty robust and can tolerate a 'less than well regulated' PSU without harm but, while isolated outputs can solve noise issues I have never heard of a non-isolated but properly regulated PSU causing such issues. There are plenty of inexpensive power supplies which are well regulated these days, serious over voltage is vary rare. Noise is another matter and I have had problems with a cheap SMPSU pedal supply injecting digital 'hash' into the audio. The only other time I've had trouble was with a long forgotten pedal which had it's DC input on the opposite polarity t my other pedals, an isolated supply would have solved that one I guess.
* Boss, Marshall, EH, TC but not a Peterson StroboStomp
I'm not a tech and your knowledge is clearly greater than mine but it is not something I have ever come across. Incorrect power supplies (i.e. too high a voltage) maybe, if you stick a 24V supply in a 9V pedal all bets are off. I've never heard of a non-isolated PSU frying a pedal though.
MXR ISO Brick here, no problems, runs all my pedals, also has two variable voltage outputs, plus a wide range of loadings. Although my EHX stuff has its own supplies, the MXR only goes up to 450 mA max.
