Controller for Soft Synth

Post by nickle15 »

I bought a new Korg minilogue XD a couple of months ago and have really enjoyed getting to know analogue, as I've never messed around with it before.

Now that I've been exposed to this world of fidgeting with knobs to edit sounds I've revisited a couple of soft synth plugins I have. Could anyone recommend a decent hardware controller to help me control the soft synth parameters in a hardware context instead of trying to adjust on the fly with a mouse? I'd prefer it to be $75 or less and don't need it to have actual keyboard keys as I already have a basic keyboard controller. So I just need a controller that I can map to the soft synth knobs and selectors. Hopefully that's enough info but let me know if you need more...

The Minilogue sends midi data when you move the knobs...

"The Best" piece of gear is subjective.

Not dumb at all! Sometimes we just need a nudge.
