Hi - totally new to this, and am struggling with ISRC codes. I've received a mastered disc from one of my artists with two tracks...no track data added at all. I've got Toast 10 Pro, and can see how to add the track names (CD text), but not how and where to add in the ISRC codes that I have for each track - and the printer/duplicator is itching to get hold of the master to finish production of the retailable single.
I'm told this is "easy'...but don't know where to start!!
All help gratefully received!
Adding ISRC codes
Re: Adding ISRC codes
No, not at all. I was just about to go in to a meeting so I didn't have time to give a proper reply.
How did you master the tracks?.. If memory serves, what I did was when saving the files in Wavelab, then instead of saving as a wave file, I saved as a broadcast wave file. You then had the option of adding additional information. I'll check tonight and get back to you.

Re: Adding ISRC codes
Does TOAST 10 burn ISRC codes at all?
TOAST 7 did not and you had to have Jam 6 to do it.

Unfortunately you're totally wrong - this has nothing to do with the file format used.
I'm not a Mac user but I understand that Toast is a general purpose disc burning program which is unlikely to support ISRC's. You need a specialist audio burning program. Waveburner might do it and Audiofile Engineering's Wave Editor might also be worth a look.
Cheers
James.

Yip. I was thinking tat the last time I used it I used Wavelab. But it wasn't 'save as' it was in the disc burning 'bit'.
