Hey all
Just been using the Liquid Saffire 56 for the first proper time and whilst trying to record some vocals, i discovered some problems. First of all there was a constant 'heartbeat' sound on one of the emulations (cant remember which one now) which wouldn't go away, and secondly when trying to use any emulation it would cause the audio signal to cut out constantly. Once i switched the emulation to flat (not using an emulation) it was fine.
Any ideas? Obviously the whole idea of the liquid 56 is to use the 2 liquid pres, but i don't seem to be able to so any help is great!
I have the latest saffire mix control version (2.0).

I've never got this kind of symptom (Mac OS 10.5.8 / Safire mix control 1.2). All the emulations on the 2 liquid pres are clear and interesting to experiment.
