Ok, weird! It looks like he locked that upload, then upped another one.
I can't edit my post now, so here's a (currently) working link :)

Glad that worked! I made a post last year (In the music tech forum) about his Thru-you series of videos. So if you have not seen those yet, be sure to check those out too http://thru-you.com/
I think this guy is a genius! I wish I could do what he did just with sound, never mind doing it with the nifty matching vid as well..

Kutiman's well 'ard. Been a fan of his for a while.

Takes me back to the early Art of Noise days.
'Pure' sampling and innovative use of the samples.

Thank you for that link Paul.

Loved http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vch-Z9ccHTk&feature=channel upon first hearing 2009.

I'm with Zuke ... reminds me also of Zoolook by JMJarre.

On ThruYou
"It took me two months, but it was really intense. I barely eat, I just worked on a computer and went to sleep...day and night, and night and day...didn't see any friends, no family...not even the sun."

That is where it is ... just him and his Lady creativity.

If i may be forgiven ... being on forums lots hinders our intimacy with this Lady ... She will leave us if we take a second glance at another.

We need to impose a little forum self-rationing.

No more than four hours a day for example

http://www.raymondscott.com/ Raymond rarely seems to get a mention, but for those who don't know he was an electronic music pioneer.

He created the Electronium; some video here of a restoration project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otc6yRRK5WA (not viewed, I'm at work!)

Here's another daily dose of inspiration - nothing particularly new in this, but I found it inspiring nevertheless:

Amon Tobin - Foley Room part 1

Yeah - considering Amon claims to have never used a microphone before (his previous work was apparently all using ‘captured’ samples from old vinyl sources) he comes up with plenty of imaginative ways to use the sounds that were captured 8-)

Many of you might have seen this already.

Follow through the first video among the three, its titled "Minimonsta Tutorial - LFO".

Its a 22 minute long video but definitely a very captivating one.

Thanks for the link AS 8-)

That front panel does look extremely familiar though, so I’ll be surprised if I learn much that’s new about its LFO capabilities unless the Minimonsta does stuff that the inspirational original didn’t ;)

Now that's honesty.

I personally found SOS more democratic than any other music forum.

I've just recently found myself hooked up with Minimonsta and till now my little experience forces me to disagree with you there, Martin. It has immense capability and cant exactly be compared to the original, I think original was just a fundamental inspiration for this beauty.

Also, I found it doing things that Arturia modular moog promised but badly failed in fulfilling them. When they are designing an emulation Arturia always seem to look for points where original synths goof up or freak out unwanted distortion. And they go way too much in giving accurate visual appearance rather than accurate audio signal.

I'm also pleased that this thread is now getting more of a following - after the first week of me posting daily links I initially gave up as so few people seemed to be interested :headbang:

It was obviously a slow starter :D

Yep. Its absolutely amazing thread Martin. I was sitting quietly and waiting for more of such interesting links, but then I guess others were also doing the same. :headbang:

O this definitely needs to be referred in this thread:

It was actually 47 site list but I excluded two as one you have already visited if you are reading this, and second you will visit after clicking the above link.
