First mac on its way - guitar interface

Post by Dave71 »

Couldn't resist a mac mini after doing some research and deciding it was my best option.

anyway im a very basic daw user and just tinker with the odd midifile/backing track as well as record snippets of guitar/vocals for rehearsing etc.

Interface. I have a POD Toneport UX2 that did the job on the PC but when i tried it with my dad's Imac when he first got that we had no end of problems. He gave up and bought a new FW interface.

Has anybody had any sucess with Line 6 gear of late, has there been any updates for MAC in the last 6 months.

Cheers

Checkout this post from line6 about connecting to osx lion

And GarageBand comes with every new mac and does more than most people would need a daw for.

Seems to have had the drivers updated very recently and claims to be compatible with Lion so should be o.k.
