Sound file to work with?

Post by Frog »

Hi all
I am redescovering my love for working with live sound and DAW's and am looking for some stuff to work with.
As much as i like playing with Garageband and things like sampled loops i would like to get my hands on some multitrack songs i can load into adobe audition and practice with effects and levels etc.
Is there anywhere where you can buy songs in multitrack format etc? Any ideas

Lucky you chose to ask at Sound On Sound forums. In the Production forum there is a sticky thread for our very own Mike Senior's online library of free to download multitracks.

Here's a handy link that will take you straight to the thread.

Mike's post will tell you more, but the highlights include:-

more than 50 songs.

songs that Mike has mixed for the SOS Mix Rescue column, so you can read Mike's articles and learn exactly how he handled the mix.

wavs not mp3s

Enjoy :)
