Your favourite free 3rd party plugins.

Post by chew_rocket »

Hello!

I'm currently writing a blog based around free 3rd party plugins. I have my own favourites, but I'm interested to know what other people like. It could be anything from go to compressors to weird and wonderful stuff.

Chuck 'em at me.

Thanks
Matt

Vlad's clipper/limiter - http://vladgsound.wordpress.com/plugins/limiter6/
it's great tool, combination of slow'ish compressor advertised as leveller, peak limiter, peak saturator and clipper in one
great sounding in good hands, overdone could sound nasty:)

I find this has its uses and it finds itself being thrown mostly on drum tracks.

Very handy.

And +1 for Variety of Sound. I love NastyVCS and NastyDLA.

This is my current top ten. Sonimus SonEQ, Audiocation Phase, and Brainworx bx-solo are also great too.

Good to see that you've got Reaplugs and Variety of Sound on your list Mike as they're the ones I use most.
