Eventually it will become outdated as we all migrate to brain pods for simultaneous creation/polycasting/listening of content, but for at least a while longer I think the info in these articles will be helpful.

I just had to do a little bit of a search for this list, so hopefully having it here will save someone the time!

At Mods'/Mr. Walker's discretion of course!

Just came across the Feb 2010 PC notes while looking at Kontakt library in the same issue, and saw a reference by Mr. Walker for Examine32, what sounds like a great computer search engine - thanks for that!

It looks like they came out with a 64-bit version since then, I'm having to mull over which one to try (and ultimately pay for) since I work with 32-bit and 64-bit computers. Hmm, will have to see if it's one license per computer, vs. a multi-computer license ...

Thanks for the heads up!

Hi alexis!

I'm pleased to see that the contents of my historic PC Notes columns are still proving useful 8-)

Yes, Examine32 is still in common use here - I can see that a 64-bit version makes sense nowadays, but the performance of the 32-bit version still seems perfect to me ;)

Thanks, I missed that.

Link given within that thread to another discussion appears to be dead now though..
