Teac/Tascam 32-28 replacement drivebelt

Post by Sam York »

I have one of these

Unfortunately the reels don't go round any more...

Anyone got any idea where to get a new drive belt (it's so perished I can't get a proper idea of size)

I have been advised that a certain model (although don't know which one) of vacuum cleaner takes a compatible drive belt..! Anyone got any ideas about this?

I'd take a look at the CPC website.

Cheers

Hello, there are also quite a few people on Ebay doing replacement belts for every conceivable R2R machine, try a search for 'Tascam belt' or 'Teac belt' (Tascams are often rebadged Teac's, and many parts including belts are interchangable),

Yep, it's badged as a Teac 'Tascam Series' I think. Same as the one in the link, that's what the red writing you can't make out says.
