UAD plugins not closing in Cubase

Hi all, since upgrading to El Capitan my UAD plugins refuse to close when I click the little red close button, they just leave a black box with the title bar still visible. I can still grab the bar and move the window around but the only way to get them off my screen is to click onto my desktop and then back into Cubase. Does anyone else have this problem or know a workaround?

Looks more like a Cubase problem, as it's Cubase that will be managing the plugin windows.

Does this happen in other DAWs than Cubase (suggesting a UAD problem), or are UAD plugin windows behaving normally in other apps?

I've just tried the Cambridge EQ and UA 1176 plug-ins which I think are the ones you used?
Anyway, mine closed properly, with no remaining black boxes.
Cubase 9, Mac OS Yosemite & UAD 8.6.

It's the same in Cubase 4 and 8le on my system so it has to be an El Capitan issue.
