Attack, decay and release on pots whilst the sustain is a slider - always thought that would make sense in terms of rate vs level in envelopes.

Though then again I'm probably in the few that actually likes the idea of envelope presets for players synths (as opposed to more sound designer-y ones) so my opinion worth what it cost you lol

I know retro styling is popular, but this doesn't appeal to me at all. Think I'll be sticking with my Subseqent 37CV (and MS20 for patching fun).

Everyone used to tell me how external PSUs were a necessary evil of keeping prices low for budget gear. Then we had the re-issue MiniMoog... Kinda blows that argument. Bob would never have allowed it. I bet this ugly little critter ain't pocket money prices either.

I'm just about to get some of my gear modified with internal (and non-momentary switch) PSUs (e.g. System-8, Karp Odyssey). I'll let you know how I get on.

Only one envelope generator? Yes I know it's (semi) modular so I could add one from somewhere else, but I'd still want at least two EGs built-in on a synth. And how modular is semi-modular? The limited access to the signal path on the original Korg MS20 seriously limited what could be done on it without the addition of the completely modular MS50.

You could buy TWO of his Minimoog clones for less than that!

To be fair to Moog, that's less than I might have imagined. But I will correct you, Martin, in that you could actually buy THREE Behringer MiniMoog clones for that money, with change over for a cup of coffee!

Now if you swap two of those Mini clones for Behringer's soon-to-be Pro-One and SH-101 clones (I'm making assumptions that Berry's prices for these will be comparable to the Model D...) you're into 'no competition' territory.

If Moog are going to ride this storm, and charge a premium price for their products, then they HAVE to give us premium features, and short keyboards, external PSUs and plastic cases aren't going to cut it. Sorry.

And I speak as one who wants Moog to prosper...
