The talkback mic on the studer appears to be stuck on on at the exclusion of any other audio
The signal from the mic is showing on the meters and relates to the master volume.
Its never been used before !
No other signal is being allowed to come through the desk.it's not responding to any buttons being pushed in and out just the master fader .
Wierd!

Sounds like a fault on the monitor module, but as you haven't told us which specific Studer desk it is (they did make more than one...) that's only guesswork. Could be a stuck relay or a faulty logic chip... Probably gonna need the services of an experienced console technician.

yes the speaker mute switch doesn't seem to be working either so could well be related
