Trying to track down Mother Recording Studios owner

I'm trying to track down the owner of a recording studio I used in the early/mid 90's that i'm pretty sure was called 'Mother Recording Studios'. It was located downstairs in a basement somewhere off Commerical Street, London near Liverpool Street station iirc. Mother Recording Studio no longer exists afaik.
He used to advertise in back of SOS, might have been Future Music and the tag-line was something like 'Mother Recording Studios - Come to Mother'!
Can anyone help as i'm trying to locate a copy of music I've lost but he has a backup of if he kept his tapes. Many thanks.

If you recorded to tape didn't pay for the tape its highly likely that it was re-used.

Not always - especially if was the master, rtateher than the multi-track.

I always used virgin tape for important stufgf and never reused.

Though I know that 2" tapes were commomnly reused.

I gave him permission to use the track in his portfolio and paid for a second copy to be stored too.

Do you have any idea of the name of the owner/engineer? Have you taken a look at the Muzines website to see if you can find the original advert?

I had a look through the "back of" a few early 90s SOS's and couldn't find the ad...

We don't do Future Music, so I don't have any of those to check...
