hooking up an apogee ensemble and a motu 828 usb to work with DP

Post by noidea »

DP sees them both, I get audio input levels but only one track can record at a time.
They are connected by lightpipe and I want the motu to slave to the apogee, so I set the out in apogee and in on the motu, yes?
Is there a way to arm multiple tracks?
TIA

In the audio MIDI setup utility you can create an aggregate device.

Mileage will vary depending on the quality of the drivers.

Some companies make drivers that support multiple devices, like MOTU, UA, ect.
