If anyone in is possession of such a synth I'd be happy to swap two of my unicorns and a magic sprout for it.

People often mistake me for a grown-up because of my age.

I always suspected modular synths could be a trip hazard...

LOL! Wasn't there an infamous 'red face' Buchla module that was supposedly coated in LSD?

So...yes, apparently this was it?!

According to this article, it's now out in Eurorack.

Yes, it's now available from your local "dealer".... :)
I got my Buchla over a year ago, I've only just started to work it out and finally make a connection with it, no logical thought process prevails, and it rewards ignorant experimentation very well, I never found this with Eurorack, Don Buchla must have had a good trip designing the "Music Box"

I wonder how many officers of the law would believe that as an excuse? ;)

I'm not stereotyping anyone in the Buchla community, I love them all, but on the whole, they (we?) do tend to look a bit like people who have experience the 60's first hand and haven't really left it behind! The values and the ideals of the counterculture are still there, and live on in Don Buchla's designs.
