Hello folks,

I've a couple TC unity cards for my 02R console.
Unfortunately I lost the license codes.
I tried TC electronic but they destroyed their codegenerator and their archive.
Now I'm reengineering; based on the serial number I try to find out the license code.
But I need some valid licence codes (M2000 and/or Finalizer) with the according serial numbers.
Who can help me with this information.
If I found out I can probably help others who also lost their license code or maybe want to enable the M2000 or Finalizer.

By the way: are you sure about the serial number of this card.
Is this number written on the card?
This is the first time I see the serial number starting with 63...

And can you give me the details of the interfaces of your cards (input ADAT and so on)

This will be superb if you can work it out.

I have a different card in the other 02R so I'll get the serial from that too - I don't have the codes for it but it seems happy to operate both M2000 and Finalizer sections..

I think the serial is on the load up page - I've got it written down how to check them. And yes, I'm quite sure as I got these straight from TC themselves a few years back after giving them my serial numbers.

Both my cards have the ADAT / TDIF I/O section and have the latest (2.12?) drivers.

The 02Rs are themselves are loaded with the Unity cards in SLOT 3, a standard Yamaha ADAT card in SLOT 1 & 2 and an AES in one and a TDIF in the other installed in SLOT 4, Both run v2.16 operating chips.

Is the code working which I gave?
Maybe I need the dealer codes as well. These codes can be obtained from the TC unity status screen on the 02R.

@ others: I like to have more license & serial codes. Please help me.

Another question: I have a Digital Surround Panel from Soundware SP02.
A special unit for the Yamaha 02R.
But I have no manual. There is nothing on internet. The company is not responding.
Who can help me?

The "ST" command gives more details about the card (dealer code and so on).

The second image gives a new serial number (without a license code I presume).

They weren't supplied with the cards but I'll do the 'ST' command when I get back near them - I'm away till monday..

I've hit a stumbling block.. I thought the ST command would display the codes (because they're active) but seems it doesn't, frustratingly.

The dealer codes are both CF17 but that's about all I can get out of them..

I didn't dare press the initialize button just in case it asked for codes..

What do you think, BME?

You need only the licentie-codes if you reset the card (sometimes if you change the Batterij).
Or if you want to enable an extra engine on your card.
Are both engines on both cards enabled?
Sometimes the licence codes are written in the manual by hand.
If not, you have to ask the seller.
This issue is the main problem: there is no easy way to discover the codes. TC Electronic doesn’t provider the codes anymore. That’s why I try to find the relation between the serialnumbers and the licence codes.
Hopefully you can provide the combinations.

I changed the battery on one of the Unity cards this evening but hooked up a dummy battery to keep the memories / codes intact..

recently, i changed the battery of the Unity card. Now, it shows "No valid Software found on the Unity card, please upload...". Does anybody have the Upload Software "TC-Unity Software.asp", so i can upload via 02R Host port?

PM me your email - not entirely sure if it's what you'll need but I'll send it over - I downloaded this folder a while back from the TC site..

I changed the battery on one of mine a few weeks back but hooked up a temporary battery to the terminals whilst I had the old one out just in case it threw a wobbly - I appreciate that doesn't help you now but might be worth considering for next time.

Lastly, not sure what version of Windows you're running but last time I used the software, it was on XP..
