This looks an interesting softsynth with a lot of creative features.
Not released yet but according to the video it'll be available for the princely sum of 1 Euro, which seems a bit of a no-brainer.

Wow - that's some impressive video, and the sounds too.
I honestly thought that it was hardware-based!
Let's hope that the multi-layered approach doesn't dominate a mix.
I'm definitely going to be following this one up

Some folks have reported minor issues getting it up and running. It's not directly written in native code after all, but it certainly has a lot more than a few sounds and there are quite a few youtube videos quite clearly demonstrating a range of sounds that are not weird in the least.
The vast majority of videos I've seen on it have rated its sound very highly and I have to agree with them. Especially for the price.
Here's a random one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVgEdsse2cY
And here's a Soundcloud track that uses it: https://soundcloud.com/sickazztonez/phi ... s-pro-test
It sounds like either your DAW is not powerful enough or something else is wrong with your setup.

Re: Ummet Ozcan Genesis Pro
I just installed it (thanks for the reminder!) and I'm running a few tests in Reaper.
You have to run the DAW as an administrator, which is less than ideal but I'm guessing is a limitation of the tool he used to create the plugin.
It hasn't got as many preset slots as some softsynths do but there are 128 of them. The presets are EDM-orientated and some are very good indeed.
There are a few bugs; some patches don't appear to make a sound (though I've only tried a limited range of keys so far as I'm using a 4 octave keybed currently) and others appear not to load properly when you select them, causing distorted audio, but then they sound fine if you move to another preset and select them again.
Changing patches too quickly also seems to sometimes cause glitches but it's certainly worth the money he's asking for it and from the site I gather they are working on improving things also.
Edit: They have acknowledged that there are issues with 64-bit bridging causing audio issues but stated they are working on it
In summary, it's definitely got some bugs but it's capable of sounding very good indeed. It's not a softsynth I'll use a huge amount myself as I don't like running my DAW as an administrator and I have a large number of softsynths that suit my needs already.
That said, I've invested quite a lot in them and for £1.20 Genesis Pro is a good option for those starting out or who are on a tight budget. I've seen (and heard) a lot worse.
I think it would have been better to wait some more and do some better testing before releasing it but I think 'disgusting' is taking it a bit far
I'll be keeping an eye out for updates on it. It has great potential, especially if he does get it implemented in native code (which he hinted he might in one of the teaser videos).

It just don´t work in FL Studio unless you run it as administrator. This Synth is really low quality product. I cannot run it in all my pcs.

It is. To me, that was fairly obvious the first time I saw it and the video. It's a commercial product being sold for a couple of pounds - you can hardly expect it to be any good - if it was, the developer would be asking a reasonable price for it.
I'd avoid it, but if you wanted to try it, you're hardly making much of a risk at that price. Is it really worth the extra time and hassle getting a refund on what amounts to the price of a can of coke..?
