I use a midi controlled guitar floorboard for my guitar amp sim in cubase. I have it set up as an external insert send from an input bus.
I may use it on more than one guitar track in a project, so depending on which part I am playing, I will have a different patch set up. Because it is external hardware, there is only one 'instance' of it, so I must switch between patches as I go.
What I want to be able to do is save the preset within the project only, as I do not wish to be saving endless presets as I do more projects. I'd never remember which presets went with which project.
The floorboard is controlled by a vst plug in (I created myself in CTRLR) and it is the preset for this plugin I want to save within the project
Is this possible?
Stu.

Re: Cubase presets
It depends on the cabilities of the pedalboard you are using. I see no reason you can't do what you want, as long as the pedalboard has the facility to dump/load a patch as sys-ex data. As with synths, I imagine some will and some won't.
Best tell us which pedalboard you are using.
