One Synth Challenge VI : The Undiscovered PulseWidth
One Synth Challenge VI : The Undiscovered PulseWidth
Citizens Rejoice! It is that time again! Yes, as the winter nights drag on, what better time is there for :
A One Synth Challenge!!
You asked for it, you got it! I have created a new (hopefully) sticky thread above which has the rules (such as they are) and the results of previous challenges in case anyone is interested in what we've done before.
So let's think of an end date for submission : we usually have about 5 or 6 weeks so how about we make this a February challenge with the closing date of midnight Saturday the 6th March? Any objections?
If not, then let's get going!

Cool, thanks for organising the new OSC/sticky.
Gives me something to do with this ADS 200...

Ummm, you're not supposed to tell up what you're using. Part of the idea is that we try to guess.
Notice I did say try

I have a synth on my phone that apparently has some kind of midi-input capability...

If you can guess which DAW is being used, I salute you!

I'm absolutely doing this, and I know which synth I'm going to use as well

Are you going to christen your new studio space?

"The Best" piece of gear is subjective.

We'll see... logistics and (lack of) time have pushed my 'install the gear' date back a couple of times already but I certainly hope so!

Maybe the ONE SYNTH CHALLENGE needs a theme?
No I’m not volunteering as I would only do a rip off of the Star Trek Theme badly. You don’t want to offend a Trekkie, er, Trekker, er whatever.

I’m in! As for themes, we could use the Mastermind theme tune, ‘Approaching Menace’ by Neil Richardson:

I'm going to try harder to get something done this time. I've only ever managed the 2nd Synth Challenge!

That's fine, but personally I find I have to visualise the piece for a couple of weeks before I actually play anything.
