The Exciting Electrical Adventures Of Garrett Vol. 1

Post by garrettendi »

Last week for the first time ever I changed the fuse in a plug.

I am now considering myself a top-expert in electrical engineering!

From what I understand this also qualifies you as a Master Plumber as an added bonus.

I’ve always wanted a perfectly fitting toilet seat in a nice rosewood with mother of pearl inlay. Would I need to come for a sitting, I mean fitting?

We use only top quality fuses for your plugs hence the price. All our fuses are 50 amps minimum

If you want, I can do it cheaper using LEDs instead of fuses. Your house will light up like a Christmas tree!

You might be on to something! Right now I’ve removed all fuses and to save money, directly soldered the fuse receptacles to each other

Hey that advice wasn't a freebie. You need to pay a consultation fee.

You're a mate though, so I'll give you mates rates. £1999. And that's cuttin' me own throat.

Was this one of those wimpy plugs where all you do is prise off a plastic cover and change the fuse, or a REAL plug with screws to remove which fall out and disappear under the cooker, and the fuse holder has a grip on the fuse like a vice?
Before paying out good money, I want to know what level of expertise I'm buying!

I feel a class-action coming on here...

I think I've got the card of a good lawyer here... Bruce someone... as yes, here it is, Bruce Castor... Bit rambly on the phone but he came as a good recommendation... really great actually... the best there is... nobody is better in the whole world ...and especially not in chyna...
