Length of sound track for release

What is the length of a soundtrack to publish?

Well it will all depend on whether it’s speculative of a commission. But if speculative, then you’ll need to provide each track in a variety of different lengths. And you’ll need to provide stems as well.

Have a look at a music library site e.g. https://www.audionetwork.com/ and see what the common presentation formats are. The formats will be similar across all libraries.

If anyone is interested in what you are doing and requires something else, then they’ll get in touch.

But creating ‘stems’ is fundamental to any commercial interest.
