Hey guys,
i want to buy some new foh speakers for our pop/rock band. Im thinking to buy 2x Mackie SRM212 V-Class and 2xJBL EON 618 Sub. My question is can they handle 500 people outside and max 800 people outside? what are your recommendations? Thnx so much!

The two are not compatible, the JBL sub does not pass through a high passed output and the Mackie doesn't have a built in crossover. If you are buying new why not just buy the subs and tops from the same manufacturer and range?

They would work well together. They are loud at 2 x 135/132 dB SPL max but my rig is 2 x 132 db tops and 1 x 128dB sub, I never find myself running out of bass but I'd say 250 people outdoors is about as many as I'd take on for a paying gig. I've done gigs to 400 with that rig but it's not going to be loud at the back. I think you'll find the Mackie rig only just loud enough for 500 (and possibly not loud enough depending on your needs and expectations).
How often do you do large gigs (say 500+ people)? Unless it's a couple of dozen a year it probably makes more sense to hire FOH for those shows and use your own rig* for the smaller gigs.

I agree with Sam. My experience is with gigs of maybe 200-250 people max using our tops and subs. Once you get to 500-800 people, you have a problem with sound throw. A decent volume at the back means it’s far too loud at the front.
This is where a line array is beneficial as the different units cover different sections of the audience and their volume can be set accordingly.
There are limits to how much a pair of tops and two subs can do well, despite their high SPLs. That’s where you need to step up to the next level.
I certainly don’t know what that is, it’s far beyond my experience and I don’t know what’s on the market. But I know that it’s a big step, and you’d need extra people for set-ups as you’ll need to have to either fly the line array units or rig them on tall frames.
So it’s probably best to hire in for the bigger gigs. If you get regular large gigs, then you can think about investing in a bigger PA rig, but it will be bigger and probably need its own van and at least two people to set up and run. Your lighting requirements will also need to move up a level.
You hopefully get more money for the bigger gigs, but you have increased outgoings and a larger crew to pay. At some point a bigger rig will pay for itself (and can also be hired out to others when not being used), but I would strongly recommend hiring to start with. This will also give you a chance to evaluate the hire rigs for sound quality and complexity.

Just to reinforce what Wonks says, I worked with a small local PA hire company for 13 years before I retired, by the last couple of years we had upgraded to a small line array which could cope with around 1000 people at the kind of levels expected but before that we used to dry hire the FOH when our own gear wasn't up to the job.

The conventional answer as to whether this kit would cover 800 outside is most definitely no.
One of the other big variables you face is that none of us would ever agree on what is "loud enough", so one person's sufficient rig is another's inadequate.
