Hi,
I purchased cubase 11 pro several months back and wondered best way to update, never had to do this with previous versions. But with this new one I notice there are a ton of updates, largely for Halion and other instruments. Are any of the updates for the program itself ? Just wanted to keep everything up to date ?
Also can anyone suggest a series of tutorials to guide me through the basics, It has changed a lot since 7.5 and a lot of the stuff I don't recognise, so anything that would bring me up to date ?
Thanks so much

Re: Cubase Updates & Tutorials
Couple of ideas...
If you look for reviews in the magazine of each update they will point out the new toys and a brief idea what they do. "Cubase Notes" sometimes do a article on new features too.
You're on 7.5- so here is
https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/st ... base-pro-8
https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/st ... -cubase-85

https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/st ... -cubase-10
https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/st ... se-pro-105

Also, Steinberg have a youtube channel with some good tutorials (IMHO).
Have fun!

Re: Cubase Updates & Tutorials
Look on Youtube for Dom Sigalas, Chris Selim and Greg Ondo.
All really good for teaching you anything to do with Cubase, just choose the style you'd like it delivered to you in...
Dom - 'vibey and enthusiastic'
Chris - Professional and real world
Greg - Dead Pan but practical
