i have them for vocals only , i'm a singer .
but is it worthit to keep these two ? since the u87 ai is the reference in vocals .

keep the u87ai and sell the kiwi , or the opposite?

The U87Ai will never go out of fashion. That's the one I would keep.

I'd agree with the Elf - keep the U87 because it works acceptably well on everything.

I'm not familiar with the Blue Kiwi but if it has a noticeably different sound then it might be worth keeping for recording other people. Although the U87 does have the reputation of working on everyone, there's always an exception. ;)

You don't say if you have a preference for the sound of either of them on your own voice. Which one do you prefer using?

Quite so. If you must sell one I'd keep the one that best complements your own voice -- the one that you prefer the sound of when you're singing.

ok thanks for all your replies
in fact i used the u87 and i fell in love straight away with it , the first day
the sound of my voice was like unbelievable
so i didn't even tried to test the kiwi vs the u87 since this mic gave me everything i wanted
still i wanted to know what was your thoughts about this choice , now i'm sure i'm gonna sell the kiwi ,
but you know like any musicians , we have always problem to sell our gear , you know it's like a woman that you quit every time lol

thanks y'all

You are already in a great situation, you own a U87!
It’s an industry standard, it sounds great, on all sorts of things, it’s very versatile, and, if you really don’t need the money, don’t sell either, but if I needed the money, the U87 would be the one that stays.
