New Serella album 'One Day in May'

Post by RichardT »

I'm releasing another album - One Day in May. On streaming services I've released it under the artist name 'Serella'.

It's an album of atmospheric pieces with nature sounds, this time from Queensland in Australia. It has a theme - it is about the power of nature to take away our fears and anxieties and take us back to, or closer to, a place of calm. The music is deliberately simple and pared back and I hope that it does create a sense of relaxation.

I wrote six of the eight pieces in one day, and the other two in a day each, so it's quite a spontaneous set of music.

If you're not suffering release fatigue, I hope you enjoy it!

On 'Night Reflections' I waited for, and predicted correctly, a note that you delivered at least five seconds after I realized it was coming. I haven't waited for a note that long since Day In The Life. Pretty satisfying.

There's a click just near the beginning of 'Across To The Mountains'.

Seemingly no longer an 'elderly'.
Now a 'Senior'. Is that promotion?
