I know, it´s only forty dollars, but I am really upset. I needed some drum loops and on Saturday 13th I bought a sample CD for download from the ZeroG online shop. After like a zillion tries where the download was reported complete after a few megs, without the connection being interrupted, I just quit trying and did what they advice, i.e., I wrote an email asking for help, help that they promise within few hours on working days. So I waited the weekend, during which the download link expired (it's valid for 48 hours). Monday came and went...Tuesday and no reply...and then a new email from me, a couple of days later other, then one more after that...and yet no news from ZeroG ten days after my purchase.
I do not really know what else to do but sharing this story with you. Take care you all in case you decide getting samples from these people, and may you all have Merry Christmas...

ZeroG downloads may let you down...

Try the telephone, always better than email.

Well, yes, but:
a) It is a 40 euro order. A phone call to UK to have it delivered will put a ridiculous extra cost to it.
b) Zero-G clearly state in their online shop that any download problems will be inmediately handled by them via email, which is (was) enough for me to trust them a Pay Pal payment. That is clearly untrue, and thus this warning.

Have to say that I have downloaded quite a few Zero-G samples recently (due to their bogof and suchlike offers...) and have always found them quite good for replying give them another go if I were you ....just a thought their reply hasn't been deposited in your spam has it ? (apologies if it hasn't I just know from experience that it does happen )
hope you get sorted soon all the best

Ya, check the spam folder, good idea...
OK, but:
(a) How badly do you need the sounds? Is it a paying gig?
(b) You could use Skype for the call.
(c) Ask ZeroG to refund you the cost of the call.
(d) Are you sure you're telephone charges are high? When I call anywhere in EU zone, an average call costs less than €2.
