Exporting sounds from Animoog
Exporting sounds from Animoog
I need to export my sounds from Animoog on my iPad, I’ve looked at the app and can’t seem to find any options, I need to load them into Animoog on another iPad, I thought I could export them as a file via email, like a lot of other things.
I don’t want to use the Cloud as the second iPad is very old, and not supported anymore, internet security issues etc.

What a faff!
Thanks though, I’ll try it.
Re: Exporting sounds from Animoog
I don't have Animoog, but if you're on Mac and it's running a recent OS, your iPads should appear in the sidebar of any new Finder window - as iTunes doesn't really exist these days.
Click on the device and head for the File Sharing tab. If Animoog appears, you can just drag files between two open windows with the different devices open in each.
I do it with PDFs and noticed a few apps in there that support it.

Thanks, but "as usual"

Apple are pissing me off a lot lately, locking you into things, cumbersome file management, I can’t even load music onto my MacBook Air unless it comes from Apple Music.
It’s just ridiculous.
Re: Exporting sounds from Animoog
Hmm, then you are likely doing something wrong I guess, I have my entire old iTunes library in the Music app, and *none* of the music I listen to using it comes from the Apple Music streaming service.

Re: Exporting sounds from Animoog
Try this -
Connect the iPad to your computer with a cable.
If it's an older one that'll be lightning to USB.
Wait while it whirs about. Both Computer & pad will ask if you trust the other. Agree (!)
The pad will turn up in the side-bar of a finder window. When you open it look along the top which says 'General -Music -Moveis-Tv Show etc click on th arrow at the top right & you should get a drop down which includes 'files' Scroll down to Animoog & open the folder to find presets, projects and so on.
Animmog Z (even more fun than Animoog) can share from the app
hth
Oh, & you can have any music you like on yr Mac - VLC is your best pal

+1 - as is any other third-party player. I listed some (and how to feed them with content) in a recent thread. There's no need to be tied by iTunes.
An Eagle for an Emperor, A Kestrel for a Knave.
Re: Exporting sounds from Animoog
What I’d really like to do is put music on my iPad, that’s the big problem, I want to rip a few CD's, I can do this easily, that’s not an issue, but how on earth do I get those files onto an iPad as a Playlist?
Re: Exporting sounds from Animoog
Again - I've covered this many times in other threads. Put the audio on a cloud service (e.g. DropBox) and download CloudBeats - connect CloudBeats to DropBox - job done!
Don't know why you'd want a playlist though - I've never understood why anyone uses them. CloudBeats does have them, though.

CloudBeats, Dropbox, cloud services, it’s all too much, thanks for your help, but I just can’t handle all this.

You said what you wanted to do and I've given you a simple way. The rest is your choice.

Elf, much appreciated, but all that seems like a world away, I’m just not capable of all that stuff, trouble is, I don’t want to listen to music that much, if I did, I’d probably make the effort. Sitting down with a few records or CD's, making up tapes, all seemed so much easier,
Re: Exporting sounds from Animoog
Bit off subject now
Simplest:
Aquire Camera Connection Kit (lightning one for older pads) & memory stick/card
Plug stick into computer, transfer files, eject & connect to CCK. Transfer to ipad using files app. Play with one of the previuosly sugested players
But did you get you Animoog patches across?
