Kirchhoff EQ

Post by RichardT »

Following Wonks' request for an article on grounding, I'd like to suggest a product for review - Three Body Tech's Kirchhoff EQ.

I tried this on the recommendation of Eric James - and I have to say it is astonishingly clean, significantly better than Fabfilter Pro Q3 in that respect, which is no slouch.

It also has a lot of interesting functionality - models of vintage EQs, customisable phase settings etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is in the pipeline too...

I'm wondering what you mean by "clean"? Are you referring to the GUI? I would expect both the FF and the Kirchhoff to be distortion-free.

I'm interested, and it does seem to have lots of fans and would appear to be well-engineered, but have yet to find a reason to choose it over my current EQs.

I do mean the sound is cleaner, particularly at lower frequencies. Try a demo and see if you agree!
