Re: God Drinks in the Mountains
I've missed these.
I have to say that I think your work with Tarko has really allowed these songs to shine. Looking forward to hearing more from Amy too.

Re: God Drinks in the Mountains
Thanks, Drew. I've got a sort of purist streak in me that says 'The song should be able to stand with just voice and accompaniment', but I think these collab tunes have more color and punch than a stripped-down version. Anyway, this tune is the last of the handful it belongs to, so I'm going to try a new way of collabing for the next round.
He could be a morsel of his former self.

Yes I definitely prefer these collabs. It is very difficult to produce such a rounded performance as a single person.

Seemingly no longer an 'elderly'.
Now a 'Senior'. Is that promotion?

I think this is as close as I ever got to that one man band ideal of roundedness of the performance. I tried program notes and a change of instrument and everything.

Enjoyed these balanced collab performances, especially the combined vocal sections.
