Where can I get support for Izotope Ozone 10 please?

Post by mikehende »

Hey guys, I had tried emailing Izotope a couple of times within the past week but haven't gotten a response from them as of this writing and starting the 10 day trial this morning, I'm afraid the trial might run out before I can get help.

Can anyone link me to any support sources please? Thanks.

Yes a 'few' times since a week ago. My question is not really tech support just need to ask 2 questions of someone who uses Ozone 10.

What are the questions? I'm not an Ozone user myself, but I'm sure there will be people on here who'd be able to help out if they knew what you needed to know.

Thanks. My Reaper project is setup in a complicated way.

I have my mp3 sources on my pc [dj software, youtube, Spotify e.t.c] auto playing the mp3 playlist through reaper. So my ultimate aim and first option/preference is to use some sort of software which will apply the reggae track in question settings and frequencies to all and whichever tracks is playing through reaper.

Since ozone 10 will match a referenced track, question is can it automatically match 'every' track playing through reaper ilke in the same way as I apply vst fx's over all playing mp3's or is it that I will only be able to apply it to just one track at a time? If it can't work to adjust my playing mp3's automatically 'on the fly' then at least will I be able to saved a matched track so maybe build an mp3 collection with the matched mp's created from the reggae track please?

Sounds complicated. On first reading I didn't understand it. Can you simplify, rephrase the core goal?

Sorry, not sure how to explain it any way else but...

I play my fav mp3 playlists through mainly my DJ softwares or sometimes play music through youtube or Spotify and all of this audio plays through reaper just so I can add whatever VST fx's like delays, reverbs e.t.c if and whenever needed to any tune that is playing.

There is one specific reggae track which plays will exceptional sound quality [to me] and I would like all of my mp3's playing through reaper to play with that same reggae tunes frequencies and settings, this is why I was directed to Ozone 10.

So now since I see that ozone 10 can apply that reggae track's frequencies and settings to another mp3, I am going one step further looking into whether or not I can use ozone 10 to apply the reggae tracks setting 'automatically and on the fly' to whichever mp3 should be playing through reaper?

So can you apply a matching-EQ curve to multiple items based on the same original source file?
And you need to do this live for shows or just as required for yourself?

Yes and only for me when I'm hanging out here at home. I would like every track playing in my playlist to play with the same settings and frequencies as the reggae track in question.

Good to note that I will have separate folders for this only with tunes which natively has somewhat similar settings as that reggae track which has ear splitting highs and powerful bass. I will not expect or be playing Norah Jones type or similar tunes with the settings mentioned.

If this is just about saving reference EQ curves to re-use them (got lost reading both explanations!)... yes you can.

Thanks, yes, that is what I was thinking that this is all about eq settings and not about file type, bitrates or anything else.

Also, I not noticing a way to see the settings/frequencies of the referenced track in Ozone 10? All it's showing is a 'curve so that is also a question I would have for a user or for Support.

I've never felt the need, but you could use the range controls to drag them to a frequency of interest and they will display it.

I have an old hardware 80s ADC Eq with spectrum analyzer which shows the frequencies readout. Since its a hardware piece no way for me to copy the settings, Still cannot believe there isn't a software or plugin which does the same.

Mine is similar to this
